I was just reading that one!

It's weird but, I got a headache yesterday and the pain was mostly located behind my ears....it just made the pressure that's already been going on with my ears worse. Today, the headache is back along with more ear pressure. I just can't get them to clear!

Disclaimer--I'm not predicting anything, lol. Just wanted to know if anyone else is feeling sensitive.

I hope y'all are having a good weekend thus far! I have a condition which causes severe headaches and I'm 3 days into a killer so not so much here.

I was wondering how many of you fine folks have actually been in a quake. I spent a week in Vegas a few years ago and they had some small quakes. They made me feel a little queasy and dizzy. Did y'all feel similar?

Thanks to you all for such a kind thread.

I've lived in quite a few areas of the US. In California, we lived in the San Juaquin Valley and felt small quakes sometimes. The dog would always go under the coffee table and stand still. I never felt anything that I can remember. In Virginia, we had hurricanes. I loved how the air felt; the next morning was a great time to look for seashells. In Oklahoma, I lived near the panhandle in "Tornado Alley" and saw quite a few big tornadoes. That got seriously dicey a few times. Texas where I am there aren't many tornados but river flooding catches a lot of people. Don't you love weather changes!? It's terrible when damage and injury or death is involved, though.

Many are saying they feel off in some way or another. I am not sensitive myself. At least that I've been able to figure out. I did feel rather emotional all week and also had trouble sleeping but I know that's due to the full moon approach. I'm definitely affected by the moon and its phases.

Yes!!! The full moon whips my butt! No sleep, edgy, emotional. Gah!

I'm not sure I'm EQ sensitive but it does seem that I experience weird ear pressure that could be aligned with EQ's. The headache that has come along us the weird thing. I haven't had a headache in forever.

Other than a fluke tiny 2+ I happened to feel as a kid when visiting relatives in Ohio, the only other quake I ever experienced was this one: [link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)]

I'm sure I've talked about this here before but the sound of it woke me first. Unlike any other sound. And my entire bed was moving back and forth, with some strength. My entire house felt like it was moving and I had trouble getting my footing upon bolting out of bed. It was one of the scariest things I've ever felt. Also exciting, and boy was the adrenaline moving. I can only imagine a big one hitting in these parts if that was a 5.2. Next time I'm bolting out the front door into the street, which was my initial instinct that time, but I stuipdly talked myself out of it.

One of the aftershocks the next morning was a 4.6. I felt that one too, but there was a big difference between that and the bigger one during the night, as far as how they felt. The second one was just a little bit of sound and some general light shaking and not scary at all. The night before it was like grasping to hold on to something. I seriously though my house was coming down. I will never forget that sound of the actual house moving. It will be a pile of bricks if a big one hits. Hence why I'm running out the door next time. PJs and bad hair be damned!

edit to add: I was not at the epicenter of these quakes, either. I live a good 120+ miles west.

Something that strong would scare the crap out of me. I'd like to feel one, but certainly not anything significant. Maybe a 3.5. I could handle that lol.

I have felt many over the years, but this one is the one that sticks out in my head the most. I felt like I was on a boat and could feel the waves under me. Then about 20 seconds later, I felt another one. A big hard jolt...like my boat hit something hard. LOL! Actually not funny...quite scary.
