Yes, we're all, already drunk. With a beef roast in the oven and bacon and string beans simmering for a longtime now.

I went to a wedding. Everything was fine. The girl in the wedding used to have a bone disorder, which left her with a pencil thin tibia. She was prayed for, many times, and between her junior and senior year, she suddenly had a normal tibia. Praise God! I teared up watching her come down the aisle today!

Are you working with a doctor (besides the blood specialist) who understands what's happening and can help you?
 Quoting: Isis One

I'm currently working with 5 doctors, 3 of which are specialists. I suppose they're all trying to 'help' in their own ways, but the one I work closest with (the local hematologist) could and should be doing more, has screwed things up with orders she has placed and still hasn't contacted me regarding my pelvis ultrasound results (which had multiple findings). I truly don't think she has even reviewed them yet because she hasn't sent copies to my PCP or to the hematologist that I see in Boston. That ultrasound was 2 weeks ago. Yesterday when I went to the hospital for labs I stopped by radiology to ask for a copy of the results (which I can see online anyway) and also a disc with the ultrasound images on it. They did provide the requested materials. They took images and measurements of many 'spots' in different areas of my uterus. Do you have any experience in sonography by chance?

I had a separate ultrasound done last week that my PCP ordered for what I believed (and was hoping) was a cyst. Her office called me the very next day to tell me that they need to order an MRI. She's on point. I emailed her last night with a question and she emailed me back first thing this morning.

I'm a mess. I've dropped 10 pounds again and my symptoms/reactions have been extremely intense lately.

At least it's Friday lol.

I'll leave my health issues out of here for the rest of the night. I actually get a bit uncomfortable talking about them openly here, but I also know that many of you do truly care so it makes it a little easier.

I'm happy to answer any other questions, but I'll PM the answers. I don't want to derail the thread too much with it for those who aren't interested lol.

Thank you to everyone who has replied. It's nice to feel like some people do care.

Geez. The health scares are enough to deal with alone without having to keep tabs on the things your doctors are doing. Sounds beyond frustrating. I do worry you dropped 10 lbs. so rapidly. Please do what you can to take care of yourself-physically and emotionally.
