Forget the pumpkin pie and cider

The House guest that well never leave. pigchef

We only do turkey but there are tons of fixings and you are most welcome. Actually y'all can come on over.
Menu turkey
Gravy
Homemade rolls
Mashed potatoes
Cornbread stuffing
Sauage stuffing
Salad
Corn and green beans
Cranberry sauce
Watergate salad
Pumpkin pies
Blueberry pies
Apple pies
Cranberry bread
Pumpkin bread
Banana bread

Everything is made from scratch in my kitchen. Even making the pumpkin puree from actual pumpkins this year. Not a fancy cook. Just good old fashion yumminess.

If more show up the beef roast and ham can be added. Put your requests in now for anything extra you might want.

That's quite a spread, WA! And I LOVE that peanuts smilie!

I do Thanksgiving with one of my best friends. Both of our parents are deceased and the year my mom died (my dad died long before) is when we started this tradition. A tradition born out of being orphans, but this is now our 11th year! Sometimes her boyfriend is there and/or other friends join us if they don't have other plans. Other times it's just the two of us until the evening, when other friends come over to hang after their family gatherings. We pretty much stick to the traditional stuff: turkey, stuffing, mashed taters and gravy, cranberries, and green bean casserole. And I make pumpkin flan for dessert. Every year it's the same and we like it that way. Oh, and lots of wine and gabbing throughout. I can't wait!

Re: Earthquake Alert ~ Always Updated
Hunch: 7.5-8.2 sea based shallow quake South of Fiji or Tonga during the timeframe 18th-21st November.

Just a hunch, had to write it down. Two different sources from different places reporting major earthquake symptoms.
Ear tones, headache, "like being on sea". Very rarely either gets those. This tells me there is at least 7.5 coming.

Now the location: Migration from the New Zealand quake -> on 11/16 we already saw activity there 5.7 in Tonga and 5.4 South Of Fiji Islands.

Northern Algeria has also a relation to large Fiji events. We had a 5.0 there today which is rare (10 in the last 10 years) There are also alignments occurring today into 22nd.

That's about it.. anyone else having symptoms?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73443188

Interesting, thank you for sharing. No symptoms here, although I don't think I'm sensitive in that way. I do perk up every time my ears ring because that doesn't happen often for me, but I can't say it's ever correlated with anything.

It's super easy bigD and it's made with colby cheese instead of cheddar. Aged cheese is a migraine trigger and that's a big no no for me. Colby isn't aged. Use your own choice/mix of choices. If you prefer a soupy, creamy type, this recipe isn't what you want though. It's rib sticking and heavy.

Just put a layer of boiled macaroni (I use elbow) in a 2 quart baking dish. Cover with shredded colby and 1 1/2 tbsp. real butter. Add a second and third layer of the same. Pour 3/4 cup milk over the layers. Sprinkle toasted bread crumbs on the top and bake until lightly browned around the edges.
