Ok, now here's another example of what I was referring to yesterday. Look at this: [ link to folkworm.ceri.memphis.edu] At approximately 4:30am CST it shows a quake. Yet no quakes near the New Madrid, and the only other EQs I see around that time are a 2.2 in Hawaii and a 2.0 in Holtville, CA. I can't imagine something that small so far away would cause a reading like that. Or would it? Quoting: KickinIt I think youre on to something... Would we really be shocked that not only are quakes being downgraded, but some are simply ommitted altogether ? That's a "conspiracy theory"... And a very difficult one to prove at that ha ha ! If you go to his twitter page his last few posts have a map. The areas with red lines are the ones to watch. He initially had the line going further south down the Cali coast, but yesterday he updated it and only included the northern part. I'm familiar with the guy but don't follow him with any regularity, so I'm not sure of his accuracy rate. Quoting: Earth420 I certainly wouldn't put it past them to hide NM quakes, seeing as that's the fault that hasn't blown in some time and we know it has the potential. Speaking of which, last night I finally watched a video that Simple posted here a few weeks ago - it was a National Geographic special on the Cascadia and NM. I thought of you guys, because they spoke of the possibility that current activity on the NM are actually aftershocks from the 1811/1812 quakes! I mean, seriously? The one thing that really got me about that video was that they said if/when Cascadia blows, due to the immense size of that fault, the shaking could last 5 MINUTES. Yikes. |

I may get a bit jittery but what the hell. Quoting: -Haun- light weight We do not learn from history because our studies are brief and prejudiced. In a surprising manner, 250 years emerges as the average length of national greatness. This average has not varied for 3,000years. The stages of the rise and fall of great nations seem to be: The Age of Pioneers , The Age of Conquests ,The Age of Commerce ,The Age of Affluence ,The Age of Intellect ,The Age of Decadence. Decadence is marked by: Defensiveness, Pessimism, Materialism,Frivolity An influx of foreigners The Welfare State A weakening of religion. Decadence is due to: Too long a period of wealth and power, Selfishness Love of money ,The loss of a sense of duty. The life histories of great states are amazingly similar, and are due to internal factors. Their falls are diverse, because they are largely the result of external causes. - Sir John Glubb The Fate of Empires We are at the end of the Age of Decadence heading into COLLAPSE |
