Hi MoN, hope you slept in this morning! I actually slept a bit later than I normally manage to, so I'm pleased.

I was expecting A LOT more updates. There really weren't that many. Although Simple was posting up until pretty late, so that helped.

It went pretty well overall, but I felt like they might have a concern about one area I'm lacking experience in. They specifically asked about it anyway. All I can do is wait, and I'm fine with whatever happens. If I do get further there will be another round of interviews, which I would not be looking forward to.

As you can tell, I'm just sick and tired of the whole process. I've been trying to find a better position for some time now and it's all very exhausting. I appreciate you asking though, you're very kind :)

The process of finding a job is the worst. From making your resume to the interview process. I hate the vile system. So many completely capable people get turned away from jobs for stupid reasons. Not saying that you are going to kickin, just saying in general. No piece of paper from a college, and your chances go down tremendously. Vast amount of employers disgrace humans ingenuity. We are amazing creatures, and every single one of us can do any job on this planet if we apply ourselves. It's as if the majority of corporations have no faith in humanity. Screw the rat race.

I once applied to over 40 jobs and didn't get one for a couple months. I got turned down a job picking up llama and ostrich shit at our local zoo. LOL Talk about a kick in the balls.

Couldn't get on at all last night. Seems ok so far today.

Pretty much. I took a week break applying anywhere after not getting a poop related job to re collect myself. hahahah

It does seem like it's still light out up to almost 9:00 pm even though it's one month since the solstice.

Haven't moved out of bed yet, very busy week. Time to go make the coffee!!!!!!

I haven't watched since last year. What happened to Karula and Vutomi?

I remember ( i think it was one of them ) watching one of them drag their kill into a tree to eat, it was pretty amazing to watch live.

The Queen suddenly disappeared about 12 weeks ago. Her cubs Xongile and Hosannah were left on their own. Xongile was at the age that she would go off on her own but Hosannah still had a few months left with his mom and there's no way she would have just left him. Rangers haven't found a carcass though so nobody knows how she met her end.

Vutomi, who was Inkanyenis' son, was found dead a few days ago. His body showed no signs of battle and the rangers are assuming it was snake bite that got him. He was recently set off on his own and was doing pretty well fending for himself.

Oh wow that is sad... Damn....

Reminded me of this incredible documentary you'd love if you haven't seen it already. It's almost like a real life Lion King story. A mother is forced out of the pride to protect her cubs and needs to survive on her own.

Yes, the process sucks ass and is grueling. And the job market has NOT gotten better. I don't believe the lies they spew for one second. The selection out there is poor, and salaries have actually gone down in many cases.

At least I'm employed, so I need to focus on that, I suppose. I sure hope you are able to find something quickly, even if just something to tide you over until you find a job more to your liking.
