Did you know that the eclipse was on a new moon? Therefore, the next day was Elul 1. In history, Elul 1 was the day Noah's flood began. It was also the day Moses went back up the mountain to get the second set of 10 commandments. He was gone for 40 days, and Noah's flood was for 40 days. Elul means repentance! We must repent for 40 days, since the eclipse. The end is Yom Kippur! deplorably republican |

Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Re: Earthquake Thread ~ Always Updated*5.5 Afghanistan ~ Pg 20354 I've got some news here.... I got the job I interviewed for last week! I think it's a really good match for me and I'm finally moving more into administration vs. just the hands-on work, which I've wanted. And I got a really good vibe from the Executive Director and all the other people there. I've spoken w/him a few times since then, which only gave me a better vibe. I think he's very upfront and transparent as I am and he's super excited about having me on board, which is a good feeling of course. It's P/T right now, but that's ok because I mainly needed to fill the void from the other job that I lost. The goal is to make this F/T by this time next year. he needs time to not just secure additional funding, but ensure it's ultimately sustainable without having to rely on grants - which I appreciate because I've had many jobs end when the grants ended and I'm tired of that insecurity. As long as my other job holds out for another year or so, this works for me. I will start the week after next, so virtually no time between jobs and I still have half the week off next week. Perhaps the dues I have paid over all these years have finally paid off. And so STRONG. Luckily I had a back-up painkiller on hand for an emergency situation. Took half of it about a minute after the Aleve. Couldn't even open my eyes at that point. Nef got me a cold cloth to put on my head and I stayed that way, cloth over head and eyes for maybe a half hour or so. Coming back to life now. That scared me a little. A lot actually.
