Has anyone heard from Master of Nothing? Just curious.
 Quoting: bigD111

I was just wondering the same the other day. I recall him saying he was going to be moving in the near future. I'm hoping and assuming that might be why he hasn't been around. Or, maybe he's just taking a break. But like you, I always worry when regulars disappear without warning :)
 Quoting: KickinIt

I hope that's it. He's a good guy! I couldn't believe he had never eaten corn on the cob!!! lmao
 Quoting: bigD111

I still remember the first time I ate fast food, Burger King, got sick as a dog and puked all over. Think I was about 11 and it took about 8 years until I tried it again.
 Quoting: RemoteGlasses

Thankfully I never really developed much of a taste for fast food. When I was a kid, we very rarely ate fast food. Once in a blue mood we went to Burger Chef, if anyone remembers those. But that was about it. To this day I never eat fast food. I'd rather go to a good local sandwich shop.

We just finished cutting corn off the cob. I picked the rest this morning. I still had 196 ears! Glad to be done!
It's all in bags now and will be frozen.
 Quoting: bigD111

My bf's Mom, 35 years ago used to put some of the corn in this fabulous sugar water, freeze, bring it out for holidays heated in a nice correll ware casserole dish and omg was it out of this world. I could've eaten the entire container. Never did get the recipe unfortunately.

This is the article I mentioned the other day about the 2 degrees celsius impact.

Thanks KI, just finished it, long article from 2012. They're going to need to break out the free energy and find some way to charge for it so the fossil fuel companies will leave the reserves in the ground.

Limo trip to the city to go see Foster the People concert. Then the rest of the week is more tests/exams and doctor appointments. Cat scan and MRI didn't show what they need to see. Now I have to have a test done that is only done at one hospital in the country.
