Thank you for thinking of me. : )

I'm okay. Had my appointment yesterday with the rheumatologist and although he couldn't give me any real answers or a diagnosis, he gave me hope. I finally felt comfortable with a doctor. I could tell he read up on my recent hospital stay and my blood results from my PCP. I mean, he is a specialist so I would expect him to provide a little comfort (even if it were negative news, just knowing something at that point was helpful to me). He just seemed to ask the right questions, that I haven't been asked yet, but have mentioned to other doctors and it would go in one ear and out the other.

I just finally felt like I was talking to someone who was going to really try to find out what's wrong with me...and then honestly try to "fix" me. It was a refreshing feeling, however they need to run further tests. They took 14, literally 14 tubes of blood yesterday. I go back in 2 weeks for those results.

And that's where I'm at, in a nutshell. : )

I see the oncologist June 20th.

My computer is on the fritz also. Hubby is going to rebuild it soon - backs it all up and then cleans it and clears it back to original. Hoping this helps as I have a desk computer that was bought three years ago for online gaming that I don't do anymore. No way in the world could it do that right now, waaaaay too slow.

When bad weather is happening, you want to know what is going on and I couldn't even get online once doing hail that was falling that was almost the size of golf balls. No tornadoes going on, not even any wind. The weirdest thing I have ever seen. Just tons of hail falling straight down and only a tiny bit of rain. Just freaky

Yellowstone geyser eruptions influenced more by internal processes
Date:
May 7, 2014

Summary:
The intervals between geyser eruptions depend on a delicate balance of underground factors, such as heat and water supply, and interactions with surrounding geysers. Some geysers are highly predictable, with intervals between eruptions varying only slightly. The predictability of these geysers offer earth scientists a unique opportunity to investigate what may influence their eruptive activity, and to apply that information to rare and unpredictable types of eruptions, such as those from volcanoes.

Having spent most of my life in the Southwest, AZ, NM, CO and 8 years in TX, severe weather is an adrenalin pumper!! Cloud burst with 5" of rain in 30 minutes, tornadoes that shouldn't happen because you are too close to mountains, snows that dump 3-5 feet of snow when the forecast called for 4-6", lightning storms when you live above 5,000 feet are spectacularly scary and yet beautiful - yup love crazy weather and yet it can be so very scary at the same time!

I too study so many things. My daughter thinks I am nuts when I study something to LEARN. She doesn't realize yet, that LIFE is nothing more than one big huge journey of learning until we take our last breath on this planet and then a whole new chapter is opened and we can't even begin to know what that will be like!!!!

Hopefully the hail is done for the night so I can call it an early night....!!!!

As "gay" as this may sound (whatever!) I really feel honored to be someone you keep in your prayers/heart. I hate when this thread is pinned and I get mushy, but it happens. Lol. You are such an inspiration of a woman...your knowledge, your understanding, your love, etc...

It's good people like you that I want in my corner. And I truly feel a bit safer knowing that I have your prayers. I'm not a very religious person, WA. I am Catholic. Went to Catholic schools the majority of my childhood, but I just am who I am, and developed my own "beliefs" I guess you could call them.

I don't consider myself religious, I consider myself spiritual.

This should be interesting as I have never really gone into this before on GLP...lol

But my personal belief, and I don't push it upon anyone, I don't reject anyone elses beliefs and I am probably the MOST open-minded person you will ever have communicated with...seriously, is that there is something out there greater than me. And I choose to pray to that "power greater than me." And that's it. That's all that is needed for me. I am spiritual, I believe, I love and...I pray. And I thank you for praying for me. : )
