It's a 2 parter: The first lesson was on science. (Yea science) The second is on discerning information... And even though someone put this article on the interwebz an hour ago, they did not cite a source: "An earthquake that struck Mexico City and surrounding areas has been measured at magnitude 6.4, and has been determined to be an after shock from the April 18th quake that measured 7.2 and was centered about 40 miles away." [ link to www.webpronews.com] Really? Determined by whom?Wow, some random website has already linked the two earthquakes together...it must be a Fact... Quoting: Earth420 This is the same area of Mexico that has been hit several times. The biggest was was 7.5+? Can't remember how big now. These could all be classified as 'aftershocks'. This isn't the 7.2 that is mentioned above. It was last year, and Oboomboom's girls were near there for spring break. Last Edited by WhiteAngel on 05/08/2014 07:26 PM |
