Hey sim

Y'all supposed to get some snow up north?
 Quoting: Master of Nothing

Yup!!! : )

They've slowly increased the amount of snow we're expecting all this week lol. As of this morning, we're looking at 4-6 inches tomorrow.

It's going to snow all day and night tomorrow and even Sunday morning. They also mentioned Monday. AND another potential storm by Wednesday!!

Once that seal is broken, it keeps on coming lol!

I want to get licensed to be a snow plower. In bad storms sometimes they work days without sleep but they get paid bank.
 Quoting: Master of Nothing

Are you talking plowing snow for VDOT? I'm trying to figure out the "getting licensed" part. I don't think that is a thing here, but then again, maybe it is to work for MODOT. Do you get much snow where you are, though? When I think of VA, I think of my time in DC, and they didn't get much snow. Less than STL, anyway.

But I agree, you can make bank if you plow snow, regardless if you're working for yourself or someone else. It might be kinda fun in one of those huge trucks you see clearing the highway! At the same time, it's probably stressful trying to avoid idiot drivers.
 Quoting: KickinIt

One of my old friends from high school plowed snow and I remember him saying he had to take a class or something - I gotta look more into it.

The d.c. area has been getting slammed with snow recently. 3 years back to back we've gotten 2-3 feet each year.

Okay, this is just wrong.

Portions of Alabama have had more snow this season than the Denver metro area! Wrong I tell ya!!!
 Quoting: WhiteAngel

Yeah, they were saying on the news here last night that College Station, TX had snow. Their yearly average snowfall is 0.0. ZERO. yet they got blanketed and we've had none. Not even flurries.
 Quoting: KickinIt

Our snow season is from July 1st to June 30th. We have had 5.400 inches of snow for the season. Since October we have had 3 days of dustings (which are not counted) and less than 1/2 an inch.

Saw on the news of it snowing at the Alamo. That just doesn't happen much.

 Quoting: WhiteAngel

Yes, San Antonio got hit too! They mentioned that in the news story as well.

Our weather guy did say things "could get interesting in the next 2 weeks", so I'm intrigued by that. He didn't elaborate and I haven't looked into it, because you know how winter weather forecasting goes. I figure I'd rather just hear about it when it's close and there's a chance they might get it right. Still, the comment implied snow and the next 2 weeks leads us right up to Xmas so.... I'm excited!

Hey Luis --- How often did/do you drink turmeric tea a day for weight loss?

I have been making turmeric, mullein, black pepper (needed to activate the turmeric) and honey tea twice a day for my lungs as asthma kicked in because of two little kitties. If I always remember, after 2 days I can breath much better and my oxygen levels stay above 94%. If I remember, lol

Also, do you put the turmeric powder through a filter or just let the tea settle before drinking?? I have only been putting through a fine sieve because of the mullein. It is what I ordered after Gomez sent me some years ago. Have several plants growing to plant in the Spring. Too bad turmeric doesn't grow here!
