Re: Earthquake Thread ~ Always Updated*5.5 Afghanistan ~ Pg 20354
Third and final interview of the week:

"We would love to have someone of your caliber on the team here at "workplace name" and I can see you would be a really good fit for us."

Now we wait.

I didn't have an answer to her question "what's your timeline for relocating" 'cause I didn't think I had a chance in hell...but now I gotta research potential apartments much further south. OMG I would love to get my own place again. She was extremely impressed with how I've handled my knee situation, how I had never missed a day of work regardless of coming back to work and doing my entire recovery AT WORK. "Well that's another selling point we can use..."

She was very up front in that they weren't looking for someone at the moment for that position, but someone else just gave their notice, and my resume` has sparked a discussion. They don't want to not have someone like me on the team.

Holy shit!

After exhaustive correlation study on todays 6.3, implications were following:

Gulf of California events normally occur in close proximity with these locations:

Kuril Islands
Kamchatka Peninsula
Honshu, Japan

6+ minimum, most cases over 6.5.

We wouldn't want to give up the house. She loves this house (as do I), and we own it outright. Thanks to prop 13, property taxes are almost nothing. She would be able to get by without me. Not great, but she would get used to it. I pay her rent yes, and would still be able to send a bit to her every month on a salary I may be making.

I'm sure single ladies don't want a guy who lives with his mom anyway. Disabilities and weight notwithstanding...but that won't be for a long while yet I'm sure.

Pooch thanks for that, really appreciated.

I always try to base everything on research and facts, but sometimes the results are weak. However a case can be made, that correlations and history matter to some extent.

For example this week Kermadec Islands did have an usual strong earthquake which was what the historical data told us.

Well that sounds good! I'm glad she wouldn't have to uproot. And that you could still help her out financially if this were to happen.

It sounds to me like you'll be the person they contact when the person who gave their notice leaves, or is closer to leaving.

Good luck! I hope you get it. hf

It just takes too long to heal and get well after being sick. It is something a lot of people are facing right now with this weird flu that has been going around. Sick, well, sick, well. I keep hearing that over and over.
