It's gone so quickly. This morning Aidan my Son went on a Big School trip to somewhere just between Germany and Austria. I just called him and he is on the ferry on way to France :) he says is really bad weather but he is fine and not sick at all, which is great as I get terribly sea sick so I am glad he has "Sea Legs" lol. They have an 18 hour coach/sea/coach journey and will be away for a week Skiing :) My Mum paid for this trip week by week just prior to her passing. She had me paying it out of her pension every week and it was finally paid for about 3 weeks before she died....she looked so happy when I told her it was paid for bless her and love her <3 So this weekend at least he will be enjoying the holiday she provided for and enjoying and enriching his self instead of feeling sad which is a greater gift from my Mum as far as I am concerned. Talk about waiting until the last minute!!! It would have been done last month but for the first time in our lives we OWED on taxes, over $1,000.00!!!! I am sick of "them" stealing all our hard earned money to pay for things I would never ever allow. The Middle Class works hard to pay for those who don't or are freakin' illegal aliens!!!! Wasn't there a war over taxation without representation? What happened to that early American spirit??? Anyway, my son, my baby boy will graduate from high school on May 16th. I get a bit choked up from time to time but getting through this time with a smile on my face. My special needs child will have a real diploma. He actually made it!!!!! He will continue schooling in what they call Transitions, which is for special needs kids who need help in learning job skills. It is paid for through the public school system through the age of 24 if he needs it that long, which is a good thing since we sure can't pay for it. Measured my son and hubby. Of course I needed a step stool to do this, lol, as I am only just over 5 foot. Son is just over 6 foot and hubby is just over 6'1"! My men are tall!!! Son was only 4'10" when he started high school and didn't start the big growth spurt until the summer before his Junior year, grew 10 inches over that summer! Still isn't shaving and I just bought him new shoes as he out grew the old ones so he isn't done growing yet. He is tickled pink that he will likely be taller than his dad. I go in today for a bunch of blood work and Monday for the CT of my lungs. I have put that off as long as possible because I didn't want to hear the bad news of whatever it is - I am a bloody damned coward to tell the truth. I will let you all know, when I know.
