I only managed to glance at the quake list a few times today, and with each glance all I could see was Yellowstone and Hawaii. Over and over and over. If look at the interactive map, I don't recall the last time I saw so many dots over the U.S. |

I have a new baseline normal. Now, sitting at my desk for hours at work is no longer an assault on my knees. I can get up and start walking with my cane pretty painlessly. And I don't feel so weak anymore in my right leg.
To test this theory, I did my usual PT protocol walking with my walker by putting full weight on my right knee. The difference is completely night and day in terms of how I can walk.
To test this and make sure it's real, I did the same thing again with my cane this morning using the new protocol PT wants me to do with my right knee. For the first time since my surgery, I am alternating both legs and am able to do so fluidly using just my cane.
OMG strength and function are finally returning after the longest, most awful misadventure ever. Still quite a ways to go to get back to normal, but I finally feel like there is an end in sight and that I am going to be a normal person again.
This is a crying moment, yes.
Damn I got something in my eye.
Quoting: CuriousSeeker Shoot - got something in MINE too!!! That is awesome news! All that determination and PT is paying dividends. TANSTAAFL - There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch |

,,,they use this same "kill the children with gas" story over and over with these proxy-war countries. Can't they come up with something a little more original? ...demonize the leader and all these CNN watchers agree we should go in there and "bring democracy" to the people.. ...then in come the mega corporations to set up shop,,,and, of course, set up a central bank. I am old, and I've seen this same shit going back to the south American countries,,,the big multinational corporations got the fruit, the sugar, the oil and minerals.. I'm sick of this crap.. and, no, Assad didn't gas his own little children.. Quoting: Arnie I agree on all counts!! I've seen this same song & dance too many times. Geomagnetic Storm ObservedA high speed solar wind stream above 550 km/s continues to move past Earth on Wednesday and was responsible for a period of minor (G1) geomagnetic storming at higher latitudes. Visible aurora was reported across many locations. Isolated periods of enhanced activity will remain possible during the next 24 hours while the coronal hole stream is geoeffective. Matt Melnyk shares with us the nice aurora photo below that he captured from near Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Nice job! Image [ link to solarham.net] [ link to solarham.net] ~*Ride the Wave*~ |

Auroras have been sighted in the USA as far south as the Dakotas. The gaseous material is flowing from a wide hole in the sun's atmosphere-- so wide that the stream could influence Earth for another 2 to 3 days. [ link to spaceweather.com] ~*Ride the Wave*~ |
