NASA Mulls Ethics of Sending Astronauts on Long Space Voyages

NASA should set up a clear set of ethical rules regarding the health of astronauts on long-duration spaceflights — such as a trip to Mars — in the near future, according to a panel of health and ethics experts.

As it stands now, astronauts on a roundtrip mission to Mars would experience a level of radiation exposure that violate at least one of NASA's existing health limits, according to previous Mars mission studies. Such a trip to the Red Planet would expose astronauts to enough radiation to increase their lifetime risk of developing fatal cancer by more than 3 percent, a health limitation imposed by NASA.

This is one topic she's in on. She has always believed. She flippin believes in aliens and UFO's, but looks at me funny when I point out massive chemtrails over her house!

But I did ask her one night, in all seriousness, would she believe me/trust me if I called her out of the blue and said "it's time to go." Like, no second guessing, I called and said GO TIME! Would she believe me and pick up her life (and tell the rest of my sheep family that they really need to listen)?

She said yes...and that was the best conversation we ever had. And that's why I keep watching this world. Because if she had said no, she would not go with me, then in the event that something big were about to happen and I was aware of it but knew my family wouldn't trust me to leave...I would choose to stay behind with them and take my chances. They may be a bunch of tards, but I couldn't live without them. I love them dearly. And I'd risk my life for anyone I love dearly. And I have.
