Not an expert, but if one buoy is giving strange readings it could be just the device or the system that is providing inconclusive data. Or there is a local disturbance, storm etc. This happens on occasion. If several are active and as the wave travels then it usually means something is up.
Throughout their history there have been several that have been anomalies. The buoys have to be treated like a network. Hope this helps with the craziness)

It's new moon again. Last time we had new moon I predicted big LA quake. It didn't happen; we had Chile instead. I'm going to go ahead and predict it again. LA area quake 7.0+ within 48 hours.

It's acting like Chile did before. I'm waiting for a third large earthquake to pop....somewhere. I don't even want to speculate where. But I fear we are far from this craziness being over. I see no signs of things going back to whatever 'normal' used to be, at least not until the earth is done ramping up for something big.

This...unfortunately. Remember when we were waiting for the third 5/5+ quake?! That alone shows the increase in activity. 5's are normal now. I do still look for that pattern of 3 with the big ones. Lately it seems like we are looking for 3 in the 7.0/7+ mag!
