I do drink lots of homemade green tea. I will try the lemon juice in the laundry too, bleach doesn't work that well. Quoting: Isis One Isis, did you see that amazing list of teas that AKO posted for me here recently?? I believe I saved it. I printed it and have it right here actually. ~*Ride the Wave*~ |
Isis One User ID: 14343270 United States 04/19/2014 02:33 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Isis, was it this song? Quoting: Simple27 Or this song? Assuming you know what I am referring to If my memory is correct, I think it was the bottom song. ;-) It was the second one, boy do you have a good memory, and you just brought TONS of good ones for me, thanks, you're a sweetie! The funny thing is that my memory has become awful (I depend on sticky notes these days, lol), but for whatever reason there are just certain things that stay with me. I remember the night we were talking about this like it was yesterday, but wasn't positive on the song. I think it stands out to me because I felt a huge connection to you that night. I could relate so well with what you were saying. Oh, we'd be trouble with capital T, the two of us hanging out during our partying days!! he he he he Spread the word, change the collective conscious...... AKObserver User ID: 1486004 United States 04/19/2014 02:33 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ... Quoting: AKObserver Me too! Not for sinuses though waiting for last tests to come back Dr's are pretty sure I have toxic heavy metal poisoning from contaminated well water at old house everything's pointing to it. If so I'll be starting some brutal treatment :( just want to feel better. Sure can pick em' can't I? In more ways than one lol I got the s--- that keeps on giving! (not contagious, just miserable) Drink lots of water, herbal tea would help too. Saint John's Wort comes to mind, but I am certain there are others. Also, activated charcoal. Add a couple teaspoons to a glass of water and drink. It will absorb much of the toxins in your body and they will pass. Do not be alarmed by the black stools. Do that for a week or two and it is a very effective cleanse. I recommend getting the powder form of charcoal, like what is on the link below. The capsules available at health stores work, but you have to take a bunch to be effective and they can be more expensive than bulk powder. I hope you feel better soon. Good Luck! [link to www.amazon.com] Thank you Dr says i'll need iv's of Chelating agents idk Same concept as the charcoal. They are a compound that absorb or attach to 'things' foreign to your body so they can be passed naturally. Go the route you're most comfortable with. Personally, I would try natural methods first, before introducing additional chemicals to my body. However that's me. I abhor modern medicine for the most part and don't believe they are truly trying to fix anything. Going to them for extreme trauma, (compound fractures, lacerations, and the like) sure, and that is only due to convenience and/or legality. I believe nature provides everything you need to stay healthy, as long as you know what to look for, how to use it properly and allow your body time to do what it is designed to do (keep you alive), you will be better in the long run. Again do what you think is best. I am not a medical professional, these are only my opinions. I'm all for the natural route and herbals I'll get his input need his documentation for the legal reasons |

Make sure it is local raw honey. Pasteurized honey is not nearly has effective and if it's not local it may not contain the spores that are causing your allergies. I'm usually a decaf coffee hound but have been on tea with honey and lemon all week as I have sinus crap going on. Your body knows what it needs. I strongly recommend not drinking decaf due to the chemicals used in the process to decaffeinate a majority of decaf coffee. Some is decaffeinated by steam, which is okay, but it's hard to tell what you're getting...okay I'll get off my soap box for that now. Tea is the second most popular drink in the world. Second only to water. The reason Americans do not drink tea like the rest of the planet goes all the way back to the Revolutionary War. Tea fell out of favor due to its high cost from taxes so our drink of choice changed to coffee. The health benefits from tea, not even including herbal teas, are amazing. I'll let you do your own research on that. Did you know all tea (black, oolong, green, white) are from the same plant? It is how the leaves are cured and the region the plants are grown in, that make the minor differences. So Assam, Ceylon, Earl Grey, etc, all come from the same plant yet they taste vastly different. Herbal teas are a whole different animal and many have their own health benefits. I've already discussed honey, so no need to go further with that. Lemons have their own benefits. They are antibacterial and antiviral when consumed, but they also have very important vitamins and minerals. They are effective cleaners; use a cup of lemon juice rather than bleach on your whites and find out. Lemon juice is also great for keeping food from browning when you cut it up, so next time you cut up apples or avocados, for example, put a couple tablespoons of lemon juice in the bowl with the freshly cut pieces and shake to coat. They will not brown...very helpful when preparing dishes in advance. Hope you learned something new. Its good advise Sol, no reason I can't switch to tea, drank it most of my life, I think I'll switch back. I do drink lots of homemade green tea. I will try the lemon juice in the laundry too, bleach doesn't work that well. I do laundry by hand and this method works best for my whites. Pre-soak 30+ minutes, cold water with a cup of laundry soda and a cup of lemon juice. Depending on your wash machine you may have to put it on cold, allow to fill, shut machine off to soak. Drain, refill with hot water, as hot as you can get and laundry soap. Since I wash by hand I soak for 30+ minutes and then agitate (normal wash cycle should work). For soap I use fels-naptha, combined with equal parts of borax and washing soda. I make this in advance by grating an entire bar of fels-naptha and combining with 1 cup each borax and soda. I use 1 spoonful, approximately for each load. I then rinse twice and whites are very bright. From time to time I will also add bluing agent (see link below) to the rinse water for even brighter whites. If you have really dingy whites you can use Rit Color Remover or hydrogen peroxide in your pre-soak. [link to www.amazon.com] Now that I have proof read my post...I ponder...why am I discussing laundry on an EQ thread? I guess strange things happen when you're drinking on a Friday night.... Supposedly from walking barefoot on our new deck. She was an alternative doctor trying to cure my lupus so I went through all the hoops of ridding myself of mercury fillings etc. I did feel better but chickened out when she said I had to inject myself daily with human growth hormone. It was also very expensive as alternative medicine isn't subsidised here. Quoting: Keep Smiling Back to the chelating. Nothing to it. You sit in a comfy chair with an iv in until its finished. I did it four times. I don't know what else they might have planned for you but don't worry about the chelation. Edit to add - there is no side effects as it is essentially just a flush out. Thank you that doesn't sound so bad they said i'd be getting treatment in patient For how long? ~*Ride the Wave*~ |
