I had the iv Chelating because of arsenic. Supposedly from walking barefoot on our new deck. She was an alternative doctor trying to cure my lupus so I went through all the hoops of ridding myself of mercury fillings etc. I did feel better but chickened out when she said I had to inject myself daily with human growth hormone. It was also very expensive as alternative medicine isn't subsidised here.

Back to the chelating. Nothing to it. You sit in a comfy chair with an iv in until its finished. I did it four times. I don't know what else they might have planned for you but don't worry about the chelation.

Edit to add - there is no side effects as it is essentially just a flush out.
