I had the iv Chelating because of arsenic. Supposedly from walking barefoot on our new deck. She was an alternative doctor trying to cure my lupus so I went through all the hoops of ridding myself of mercury fillings etc. I did feel better but chickened out when she said I had to inject myself daily with human growth hormone. It was also very expensive as alternative medicine isn't subsidised here.

Back to the chelating. Nothing to it. You sit in a comfy chair with an iv in until its finished. I did it four times. I don't know what else they might have planned for you but don't worry about the chelation.hf

Edit to add - there is no side effects as it is essentially just a flush out.

Lupus is one thing I am being tested for. I go back to my doctor on Thursday and will hopefully have some answers. Were the injections because of the lupus? I'm sorry you are going through all of this. hugs

That was a while ago. I've lived with lupus since 99 so I'm pretty much used to it. Hope you don't have it though.

The injections were part of the alternative therapy I was trying. No one will do that to you hugs you will be ok.

I didn't realise you weren't feeling well. Best of wishes and luck for your results.

One more week.

That’s right. One more week to go until the most intense 4-week time band of the year, perhaps even the decade, arguably even a lifetime, is completed. It’s the Grand Cardinal Cross, where Mars retrograde, Jupiter, Uranus, and Pluto all fall in 13 degrees of cardinal signs, conjunct Vladimir Putin’s natal Sun as well as the natal Sun-Saturn square of the United States founding chart (July 4, 1776).

The most obvious correspondence between this rare planetary configuration and world events is the tension between Russia and the USA, which is at its highest peak since…. well, maybe since 1968, shortly after the Uranus-Pluto cycle began in the mid-1960’s. Now we are in the first quarter phase of that cycle, typically a time when the issues of the conjunction are revisited and found to be fraught with problems that were never resolved when the cycle began. The Cold War of the 20th century may have technically ended in 1988-89, but it wasn’t emotionally resolved for many who opposed the demise of the Soviet Union, or the switch to the USA as the sole military superpower of the universe. That change of status is up for challenge now, concurrent with the middle part of this 33-month Uranus-Pluto waxing square, which is the first quarter phase of this 122-147 year Uranus-Pluto cycle.

How will the leaders of the world handle this issue of potential military conflict between the most powerful nations on earth? I am not sure, for no one in the USA wants to even think about it, let alone do something about it (they seem more interested in racial and gender issues and allegations, now that we are heading into the mid-term elections). Talk of international tensions is not part of the election-year script. It’s too inconvenient to think of “bad guys” other than the opposition party. Europe seems equally paralyzed about what actions to take in regards to the prospect of military confrontations brewing between Russia and Ukraine, and possibly other places soon as well. Yet with Uranus so highlighted now, there are apt to be more unexpected surprises and bold actions taken by…. somebody. With Mars, there may be an urge to act too hastily. With Pluto, a rash decision can carry powerful and lasting consequences if there is not a consensus. To say that this is a time of a serious dilemma between the path of world peace or war (cold war or otherwise) is an understatement, given the nature of Uranus, Mars, and Pluto.

This is the Easter and Passover holiday season, a time for renewal and rebirth, which are also symbols of Pluto. Maybe the leaders will agree that this is the time to “Give Peace a Chance.” Almost everyone on the planet wants it. And, as former President Jimmy Carter once said, the only impediment to this wish for world peace are the leaders of the world. Here, in the midst of the most potent planetary gathering of a lifetime, is the chance for world leaders to step up and work together as part of a truly connected world body. There is a “line in the sand” now for all of us. Whichever way we cross, I think that will be the direction of the next 40+ years. Peace or war? The empowerment of the individual, or the final grab for power by central government leaders? [link to www.mmacycles.com]

They're testing me for all sorts of things. I'm not even sure what. I've had 3 separate dates within the last 2 weeks of blood work taken for tests. I got results on the first tests and everything on that one was normal except my rheumatoid factor was extremely elevated and my hemoglobin was slightly elevated. When I went to the doctor this past Tuesday I know she was testing for lupus and doing a full panel thyroid test, but she definitely ordered more than just those because they took a shit ton of blood...again. I'm not even sure how many tubes they took on Tuesday.

And look at what the hospital did to my arm by taking blood from my IV. It wasn't flowing out so the nurse started pushing down really hard on my arm on top of the damn IV needle!

Drink lots of water, herbal tea would help too. Saint John's Wort comes to mind, but I am certain there are others. Also, activated charcoal. Add a couple teaspoons to a glass of water and drink. It will absorb much of the toxins in your body and they will pass. Do not be alarmed by the black stools. Do that for a week or two and it is a very effective cleanse. I recommend getting the powder form of charcoal, like what is on the link below. The capsules available at health stores work, but you have to take a bunch to be effective and they can be more expensive than bulk powder. I hope you feel better soon. Good Luck!

Well, I had mine done by what the medical profession would call a 'quack'. I'm sure the medical profession would want to monitor you for a while after chelation and takes tests immediately and all the rest. Also, they probably need to do all the tests to find out how much chelation you need etc. At least you will be in professional care.

Thank you. Whatever I have, or is going on with me has been for a long time. I guess you could say I also just got used to it/adapted to it. Ya, got used to living most days feeling like crap...no way to live really, as I'm sure you know. A lot of it is my own fault though. First and foremost because I skipped my physical last year so 2 weeks ago was my first physical in 2 years. I know to some people that doesn't sound like a big deal/long time, but when you feel like such shit that your family can see that you don't feel well and push you into seeing your doctor and when you finally do you get abnormal blood results back that prompt additional blood tests and you end up being admitted overnight at the hospital for the first time in your life (in between the appointments with my PCP having blood work done) it becomes a big deal. It's pretty scary. The night I was admitted into the hospital, that morning I threw up really bad. I don't throw up...ever, unless I have the flu and that is very rare. And since the 9th my heart constantly feels like at any moment I could have a heart attack. That's 10 straight days of worrying whether or not your heart is gonna give out on you. And that just causes additional stress. Frustrating...

And for at least those 10 days my heart rate has been over 100 beats per minute more often than not.

Thank you that doesn't sound so bad they said i'd be getting treatment in patient

Well, I had mine done by what the medical profession would call a 'quack'. I'm sure the medical profession would want to monitor you for a while after chelation and takes tests immediately and all the rest. Also, they probably need to do all the tests to find out how much chelation you need etc. At least you will be in professional care.

Lupus is one thing I am being tested for. I go back to my doctor on Thursday and will hopefully have some answers. Were the injections because of the lupus? I'm sorry you are going through all of this. hugs
 Quoting: Simple27

That was a while ago. I've lived with lupus since 99 so I'm pretty much used to it. Hope you don't have it though.

The injections were part of the alternative therapy I was trying. No one will do that to you hugs you will be ok.

I didn't realise you weren't feeling well. Best of wishes and luck for your results.
 Quoting: Keep Smiling

 Quoting: Simple27

I'm so sorry for everyone dealing with unknown health issues. I know how frustrating and scary that can be. I can't bring myself to share my own...too much of a horror story and though I am getting better it is still too painful. I'll just sum it up to I hate doctors. Remember doctors are 'practicing medicine' so getting a second and even third opinion is so important. So many times they don't have a clue so they shove the standard medicine for the week on you so they can get to the next paycheck/patient. Best advice I can share is an organic diet. It has helped me more than anything. Let food be thy medicine truly is the key. hf
