In particular, the increased potential for a large subduction-zone event in this region, with the concomitant risk of another tsunami, makes the need for a tsunami warning system in the Indian Ocean all the more urgent Last Edited by Go2 on 05/06/2014 12:28 PM |

Awesome, but I won't be available for a little bit. I have to go get ready for my appointment which is a little far away. Just love these doctors. But of course, I'll post as I can. ~*Ride the Wave*~ |

This is unprecedented!!!!!! [link to twitter.com (secure)] Where I live the soil is still not ready for planting vegetables, there is still frost. The window now is about two weeks to get them in due to the harsh climate and short growing season. My neighbour who has had a garden every summer for 50 years, growing a variety of veg to feed his family and others has never witnessed anything like it. It is surreal watching him dig around the yard with a confused look on his face not knowing when to plant... I have known him for 8 years and throughout that time we often discussed the changing weather patterns. He is retired and his garden provides him with food. If he can not plant he will have to find the resources to buy food elsewhere... It's really sad( wmMmw |
