It's formatted horribly for mobile devices so I don't even bother, and when I do go to it, I don't see much of an information flow.. It's much better on a lap top. It is a difficult link for a cell phone, but it's full of great info. ~*Ride the Wave*~ |

Magma building as Mount St Helens readies for 34th anniversary MOUNT ST. HELENS, Wash. -- Magma is growing under the crater at Mount St. Helens as they get ready to mark the 34th anniversary of its big eruption. It's this Sunday -- the same day of the week as when the blast occurred. Scientists say as the volcanic activity grows, so does the technology to give us a warning. Mount St. Helens today looks frozen in place all covered in snow. But, deep down there's a lot of hot activity. "Magma is repressurizing beneath (Mt. St. Helens)," said scientist Peter Frenzen. I just like to see the sun at least once a month. It was just really humid here yesterday and today so I'm happy that it will cool things down a little. Being hot really affects whatever it is I have going on with my health right now. I'm actually looking forward to my appointment on Tuesday because I am hoping for some answers and more importantly, some solutions. But I love the sun on a cooler day. ~*Ride the Wave*~ |

Over the past 30 years, the location where tropical cyclones reach maximum intensity has been shifting toward the poles in both the northern and southern hemispheres at a rate of about 35 miles, or one-half a degree of latitude, per decade according to a new study, The Poleward Migration of the Location of Tropical Cyclone Maximum Intensity, published yesterday in Nature.
