Non threatening question, why do you just link that occasionally? It's formatted horribly for mobile devices so I don't even bother, and when I do go to it, I don't see much of an information flow..

Magma building as Mount St Helens readies for 34th anniversary

MOUNT ST. HELENS, Wash. -- Magma is growing under the crater at Mount St. Helens as they get ready to mark the 34th anniversary of its big eruption. It's this Sunday -- the same day of the week as when the blast occurred. Scientists say as the volcanic activity grows, so does the technology to give us a warning.

Mount St. Helens today looks frozen in place all covered in snow. But, deep down there's a lot of hot activity.

"Magma is repressurizing beneath (Mt. St. Helens)," said scientist Peter Frenzen.

Dioxide Measured at Hawaii's Mauna Loa Volcano Reaches Worrying New Levels

Scientists across the world are worried about environmental impact of record high level of CO2 in the environment during April. The carbon dioxide level remained more than 400 parts per million throughout April. The level is considered to be the highest one since the recordkeeping started.

Concentrations that were found to be at the highest level in many decades were measured by researchers from the Scripps Institute of Oceanography in San Diego. The average value of carbon dioxide for April remained 401.33 ppm.

4 Months Worth of Rain Hits in One Day: Serbia flooded

Parts of Serbia and Bosnia are experiencing worst rains and floods since measurements began. Heavy rain and floods were also reported in eastern Croatia.

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said this is the greatest flooding disaster ever..."not only in the past 100 years; this has never happened in Serbia's history. More rain fell in one day than in four months."

It was just really humid here yesterday and today so I'm happy that it will cool things down a little. Being hot really affects whatever it is I have going on with my health right now. I'm actually looking forward to my appointment on Tuesday because I am hoping for some answers and more importantly, some solutions.

But I love the sun on a cooler day. chuckle

Not good at all Jazzy, and Luisport reported earlier that apparently another 30cm of water and the power stations supplying electricty to large parts of Serbia (including Belgrade which is a large city) will become flooded. Add lack of electricty it could get very bad. :(

Intense tropical cyclones shifting poleward since 1980

Researchers find that the average latitude where tropical cyclones achieve maximum intensity has been shifting poleward since 1980.

Over the past 30 years, the location where tropical cyclones reach maximum intensity has been shifting toward the poles in both the northern and southern hemispheres at a rate of about 35 miles, or one-half a degree of latitude, per decade according to a new study, The Poleward Migration of the Location of Tropical Cyclone Maximum Intensity, published yesterday in Nature.
