can someone here with more brain cells than me look at the map and tell me what time that is Eastern Time I'd like to match up and see if it was the same time as the earthquake which I believe it was 930 at night I think

“Some forecasters have predicted a meteor storm of more than 200 meteors per hour,” said Bill Cooke, lead for NASA’s Meteoroid Environment Office. “We have no idea what the comet was doing in the 1800s. The parent comet doesn’t appear to be very active now, so there could be a great show, or there could be little activity.”

The best time to look is during the hours between 06:00 and 08:00 Universal Time on May 24, or between 2-4 a.m. EDT. That's when forecast models say Earth is most likely to encounter the comet's debris. North Americans are favored because their peak occurs during nighttime hours while the radiant is high in the sky.
On the night of May 23-24, NASA meteor expert Bill Cooke will host a live web chat from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m. EDT. Simply return to this page a few minutes before the chat begins, then log in to ask your questions. A live Ustream view of the skies over Huntsville, Alabama, will also be offered on this page.

I don't mean to be off topic, but wanted to mention that there is a tornado on the ground just west of Albany NY. It is on the weather channel now. Fox news just mentioned it also.

ANTICIPATION BUILDS FOR WEEKEND METEOR SHOWER: This weekend, Earth will pass through a stream of debris from Comet 209P/LINEAR. If forecasters are correct, the encounter could produce an outburst of bright meteors numbering more than 200 per hour. The best time to look for these "May Camelopardalids" is on Saturday, May 24th, between the hours of 0600 UT and 0800 UT (2 a.m. and 4 a.m. EDT). The timing favors observers in North America.

Scary Fanged Cannibal Fish Washes Ashore ... Alive!

Visitors to Jennette's Pier in Nags Head, North Carolina, were shocked last week when an evil-looking fanged fish washed up alive on the shore.

The monstrous fish has been identified as a long-snouted lancetfish (Alepisaurus ferox), a nocturnal predator that's rarely seen near shore. The fish are known not only by their large fangs and tall dorsal fin, but also by their habit of eating their own species.
