A moderately strong solar flare measuring M5.2 was just observed around sunspot 2056 peaking at 10:07 UTC. Stay tuned The Bz component of the interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) is pointing south. Increased geomagnetic activity (KP=4) is being observed. [ link to twitter.com (secure)] The flare part I believe is old...but the Bz component part is new! With the incoming meteor shower...
