Sheesh!!!! Glad you checked in.

Before USGS upgraded the 7.1 Alaska to 8.0, there was a 3.6 Utah that has since been scrubbed.

Yup, in just a little while...maybe 4. They scrubbed the 6.4 North Pacific Ocean, the 5.4 North Pacific Ocean, this 3.6 Utah...and I think there was one other...

I pointed out earlier there had been several signals together here

At #12 on the 24 hour link. Then another at #13. The site has been glitchie recently so didn't think much of it but had posted it. Looks like they were true signals this time. We should have another one or two. Look at #16, big signal and they took it off line for a bit.

imo I think they are getting plate shift movement readings not eq's on the scrubbed ones and now we are seeing pole shift effects

We had a great day! After her graduation a group of us went out to eat at the Olive Garden (yummy!). Then she went to a friend's house to go swimming. She really is a great kid!

Surgery is Thursday : ( I won't lie, I'm kinda scared, seriously. But I know I will be fine.

I am rather surprised that USGS kept that quake at a 8.0, instead of downgrading it to the 7's. Here is a list of the different agencies that reported the quake. I like to look at this for the larger quakes as it gives you an idea if it was actually larger or not.

Highest I see is 8.3. You do have to watch the times on this chart as some of the aftershocks look like it was part of the main quake. Just line up the times and you are good to go.
