The temperature gauge in your car is picking up the temperatures that have been amplified by the heat sink effect your community causes. It is typically 10-20 degrees warmer on asphalt or in a town than where the temperatures readings are taken for weather stations, which are usually outside out town or on the very edge of town.

For example, in my community, the prevailing winds blow west to east. The airport is on the west side and takes the temp readings for the local news channels and weather channel, we also have a weather station on the AFB on the east end of town. The readings at the AFB are always higher than what is read at the airport, again in that 10-20 degree range. Depends on how hot it has been that day and how quickly the wind is blowing as far as the difference is concerned.

That said, could the Sun, or something else, be sending more 'energy' our direction? I believe that's absolutely possible, so please do not take my above statement that that isn't or won't be occurring. I just don't think what you are explaining is being caused by that. I think there's a much more simple explanation for your situation.

idk about that but on Monday my elbows, knees, bottom of feet and palms of my hands were bright red and hot to the touch felt like they were on fire. Told the Dr about it have been sweating and freezing all summer can't go outside sun blinds me causes weird prism eye anomalies.

Canadian icebreakers head to North Pole in continental shelf expedition

Canadian icebreakers have begun a six-week scientific survey to gather information for Canada’s Arctic continental shelf submission. The CCGS Terry Fox departed from St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador on Thursday, while the second icebreaker, the CCGS Louis S. St-Laurent, will be sent off on Sunday from the same location. Canada filed preliminary information about the outer limits of its continental shelf in the Arctic Ocean with the UN’s Commission on the Limits of the Continental Shelf, stating that it would file a submission for the Arctic at a later date. The scientific surveys are meant to prepare Canada for that submission. “As demonstrated by these planned surveys, our government is committing the resources necessary to ensure that Canada secures international recognition of the full extent of its continental shelf, including the North Pole,” Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird said in a statement on Friday.

Excellent info. I love essential oils. I have used them for many things. I also have oregano oil pills if I feel any colds coming on. Many good things with oils. Thieves oil 3 drops on belly or bottom of feet are very good to keep virus and bacteria away.

An Indonesian girl has been reunited with her family after being swept away by the 2004 tsunami. The girl was spotted on the street by a relative who recognized her after a decade.

The strong waves of the tsunami swept up Raudhatul Jannah, who was four years old at the time, and her seven-year-old brother in Aceh province on December 26, 2004.

Both their parents survived the earthquake and tsunami that took the lives of 170,000 people in their own province and killed tens of thousands of others around the impacted area.

Ten years later, Raudhatul's family has learned that she was saved by a fisherman who found her on a remote island southwest of her home and handed handed her over to his own mother to be raised.

Fifth African country? Benin reports two suspected Ebola cases – awaiting test results:

Benin has reported two cases of the deadly Ebola virus in the west African country. Health Ministry official Aboubacar Moufiliatou said that a man suspected to have contracted the virus had died. “Fortunately, blood samples have been taken from the deceased patient to examine if his death was linked with Ebola,” Moufililatou told the state television Thursday night. He said another man has been quarantined after showing symptoms of the deadly virus after returning from the Nigerian city of Lagos. “Blood tests from the suspected case will be conducted in laboratories approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) to confirm or deny the infection,” he said. The WHO has declared the Ebola outbreak in West Africa to be an “international public health emergency” as the virus reportedly continues to spread through the region in Liberia, Sierra Leone and Nigeria. According to the latest WHO report, Ebola has killed 932 people in West Africa. The Ebola virus, a contagious disease for which there is no known treatment or cure, can be transmitted to humans from wild animals and also spreads through contact with the body fluids of an infected person or someone who has died of the disease. Medical doctors say common symptoms of Ebola include high fever and headaches, followed by bleeding from openings in the body. If the cases turn out to be Ebola, this would be the fifth country in Africa where the virus has spread.
