Earthquake Thread ~ Always Updated

I've been up for almost an hour now. Have several windows open like I always do. It's way too quiet out. Always hear the Crows, Robins, Blue Jays and occasional seagull and those little songbird Starlings. Most mornings when I'm up this early, usually hear some geese too. I live in a part of the city with lots of parks. Ten blocks down is Wapato park with a small lake. I haven't heard any birds or anything this morning not even dogs barkign.

There will be much more of this as the top of the Ocean food chain runs out of natural foods to eat they will consume vast amounts of peoples.

Not close to the coast at all. I live in Tacoma and am about 2 miles from the sound. As long as there's food sources, (dumpsters) seagulls will go pretty far inland from salt water though. I heard a couple Crow if a little bit ago just for a minute or two. But other than that it's still real quiet not even dogs barking. It's a nice sunny morning too. To be about 85 again today.

Even living in the cities we have lots of birds and squirrels, possums, raccoons. You get out a little ways from the cities in the suburbs even coyotes now and then. And then if you gettin east into the suburbs they even have the black bears that come down and get in peoples balls and stuff. Just like you see in California on the news.

I guess I should say that a lot of people wouldn't consider crows, Robbins, possums, raccoons, squirrels and rats wildlife.

They are life even if most are rodents and pests, lol

I know squirrels are cute. Especially when you throw a little peanut outand they just sit there and enjoy the Hell out of it. But honestly they're just gray colored rats with furry tails. Squirrels are cute. Until they get up in your attic and have babies. Then the babies start chewing your wiring.

Grew up in Alabama. Saw squirrels kept as pets, and seen them slingshotted and eaten for lunch. nope. nopenopenope.

Florida Police Dog Killed by Lightning Strike

A lightning strike from a passing thunderstorm in Florida killed a Panama City Beach police dog named Argo.


Officials say most of the fur was missing from Argo's front leg above the paw, indicating a lightning strike.

Police Chief Drew Whitman says Gleason is having a hard time dealing with the dog's death.
