G1 Geomagnetic Storm / Aurora Show Part II
Increased geomagnetic activity continues with a period of minor G1 geomagnetic storming observed at 05:40 UTC. The Bz component of the interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) continues to point south (-10nT). Aurora was once again reported across many locations from Scandinavia, Canada, Alaska and New Zealand. Sky watchers located at high latitude should remain alert for visual aurora if it is dark outside.
