I drove to the beach earlier tonight because the sky was so clear and the stars were amazing! I wanted a better view. When I got there I walked down onto the sand looking out towards the ocean. Out, way out, was what looked like maybe a ship/boat, but it was WAY too bright considering how far out it was.

Stupid iPhone pics do no justice. In person it looked like two bright lights next to one another. In my pics the two lights blur into one because I had to zoom so much, again with an iPhone.

I've lived here all my life and have gone to the beach at night many, many times. I have NEVER seen anything like this. It was on the water, not in the sky. Or so it appeared.

Weird!
