And I had to lol at "I don't feel like sleeping tonight." Some nights I do the same, but usually not on a work night (although I have). Other nights it's not really a choice. It's energy.

Partially to do with them. Something about the way one of them looked at me. I couldn't even tell you what nationality he was...he just was not from "here."

Had a real shit-eating grin on his face and held his stare for an uncomfortable amount of time (from the time I stepped out of my car to the time I walked past him ~ too long for me). I had sunglasses on so he didn't even know I was making eye contact. Just a very creepy gut feeling it gave me. And then when I lost power earlier...yikes.

But overall it's more of an energy thing. I can't really explain it, but I think you know what I mean. : )

I've been an insomniac since I was very young. For some reason I have never figured out how to shut my brain off. It's not energy, but rather deep thinking on many different tangents. I think of one thing, which leads to another, which leads to another and so on. I can't help it.

Yes, this is a work night, but I am a corporate trainer (virtual) and I'm training people how to use our customer database tomorrow, err...today. It's boring and dry information and really only ends up being a half day of training for me. The rest of the time I typically spend reading books. I will probably just leave early since my manager is two hours ahead of me and will be out of the office early, relative to my time.

The road trip should be good. It's a ride with my MC. We're hoping the weather holds here until after September 15. We'll be making our annual run into a small mining town, deep in the Rockies, here in Montana. I have to have tunes on the bike, wind and engine noise gets monotonous when that's all you have to hear for 250 miles. Just hoping it doesn't snow! Already had winter storm warnings above 6000' feet twice in the last two weeks. Snow makes for a very uneasy ride on two wheels....

If the snow stays away and 11 planes don't decide to crash America's party the day before departure all should be good.

This kind of situation would be different for me...I have a shaved head, goatee, tattoo's and rarely smile (unless it's a shit eating grin). Some douche stares at me like that, I stare back, if they continue, I ask them, "Can I help you?" or something along those lines (depends on environment)
Typically with a facetious tone, at this point they quickly turn away...if they don't, that's when I get the shit eating grin and start heading towards them. Rarely does anyone continue to stare...

Maybe you need to shave your head and grow a goatee...

When I lived at home with my parents (the bittersweet good ol' days) and my dad didn't know how late I was up until on the weekends, he would give me crap and wake me up on a Saturday or Sunday morning and say "C'mon get up, you'll have plenty of time to sleep when you're in your grave."

I know that sounds a bit harsh, but he would say it in a playful way, with a smile on his face, just giving me a hard time. Teenage years....when I thought life was difficult! Hahaha!! I try to tell my daughter as often as possible to cherish these days. Especially when she complains about not wanting to go to school. Lol, I wish I was back in 6th grade.
