Yup, still alive. Been busy last week or so. Had lots going on at work, had a 9/11 tribute ride with 150+ bikes and another excellent motorcycle ride last weekend. Got to see Bannack and Virginia City in Montana. Two old mining towns with lots of history. They were essentially the birthplace of Montana back in the late 1800's. When all was said and done, I learned a bunch, have lots of new stories and rode 650 miles.

Could have been warmer (woke up to 9 degrees Sat and 13 degrees Sun), but it didn't snow so all was good. Camped out with some great friends for two nights. Lots of drinking and BS'ing. Good old fashioned social networking!

I would say no and would further assert that it's almost impossible these days to have anything truly organic.

If your heirloom, organic, plants are pollinated by insects and those same insects just pollinated GMO crops and are carrying GMO pollen, your heirloom seeds for the next year will no longer be organic, they will be modified.

If GMO grasses, that are wind pollinated, transfer their pollen to natural grasses, the next generation of those natural grasses will then be modified and any grass fed animals that feed on said grasses will ingest the modified grasses and they are technically no longer natural grass fed.

A sad side effect of patented GMO crops is that if a company, such as Monsanto, decides to test your crops that happen to be downwind from their test farm's and your crops show any of the signature DNA from their patented crops, not only can they destroy your crops but you can be sued, fined and/or charged with theft of intellectual property. Crazy times we live in, eh?

Not just yet, but I'm very excited!! I didn't wanna mess anything up so before I jumped right in I followed the instructions and have the battery charging now. I can't wait!!

Tomorrow night I can play around with it, hopefully.

My daughter has to cheer tomorrow morning at a football game and after that we are going to my aunt's house (half hour or so away) for my nanny and papa's birthday. Family fun day! Haha!!

It was great, I was towards the head of the pack and it was amazing to look in the side mirror and see all the bikes behind me. It was cold, but still had a great turn out and a bunch of folks from the community were parked along the route waving flags and cheering. It was great, we even had police escort and a permit making it legal this year.

Last year the city wouldn't approve the permit or provide escort so we did it anyways and ran 'outlaw.'

The ride over the weekend, was separate from the 9/11 tribute ride. That was an annual club ride that departed 9/12 and we got home 9/14.

Hey Sol! When my great grandfather was a young man, he was the stable boy in Virginia City! He took care of Henry Plummers animals! He said Henry Plummer was the best man in Virginia City in his opinion! lol
