I stepped out this morning a little bit before 9 a.m., to put some outgoing mail in the box. Soon as I stepped out the front door, a little birdie shot off. I even said out loud, "well hello little birdie". I got to looking around, between my yard the driveway and the neighbors yard, there must have been 30 Robbins all around. Then I look down the street and the Blue Jay was hopin' across. So I walked around a little bit. Around the back of house there was four Crows evenly spaced, just sitting on the fence. Then the neighbor directly across the street there tree was just chock full of Starlings. So much so the tree was just shaking. Granted it's only about a 30 foot tree, but still. Then I look up and I see a couple, maybe three seagulls just gliding around. I could not believe all the birds and even all the different species of birds Just around my little end of the block this morning. Granted it's a cool damp and somewhat foggy morning, still is. There's always birds around. But there's so many everywhere in so many different species.

Just a little tidbit. This is a first time In about 4 years, that we've had a couple Blue Jays living somewhere on the block. Anyone that's had a resident Blue Jay, knows that they are obnoxiously and annoyingly loud. They make Cows not seem annoying and loud at all.
