but... my dearest nerd friend came over spent yesterday removing and re-installing had to wait til' this AM seems to be fine I know it was a virus from here now UGH!!!

Now I know what an addict feels like lol I had my withdrawal Don't want to do that again.

New years Eve was a nightmare! We live in the firework capitol of the US it was like a war zone poor dogs artillery fire til the wee morning hours I opened the front door at a little after midnight the whole yard was full of smoke from fireworks

I'm way behind on work now have to play catch up but...I'll be back.

JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. (AP) - One hundred soldiers returning from West Africa landed at Joint Base Lewis-McChord and will be held in isolation as part of a 21-day Ebola monitoring program.

-I think I herd them land early this morning. Assuming they were on C-17 cargo jets. It was even cold and foggy. Oh, spooky. But really, the constant rumbling of several jets woke me up about 7am. Haven't hard any plans rumbling about since a day or two before Christmas. Had gotten used to not hearing Air Force and Army choppers for several days.

Snowing a lot harder than that here right at this moment. Big huge flakes and already 3" more on the ground. Just beautiful!!!!!!! But that band of snow will be short lived. Still haven't gotten my feet of snow yet!!!!!!!!

I have two Doom movies to watch..
Any of you seen them?

Which one should I watch first?

I really don't want feet. I'm actually a little nervous because of the Raynaud's. My hands literally begin to hurt, BAD, in the cold. My body temp is all screwed up. My hands will start turning purple (legit, no lie), but my face will feel so hot! The hands thing has been getting bad lately. To the point where I am actually nervous about shoveling. We'll see what happens. Coming down pretty hard right now.

Just don't wanna lose my fingers. What the heck would I do without GLP?!

Been snowing here, we added another 6 inches or so on top of the 4 inches we already had. Whopping 0* F right now too. I'd like to stay in, but have a party I'm going to and it's not too cold to pass up some smoked beef brisket. So, that said, I have to run. Hold down the fort!

I was given this advice as my hand hurt bad when they are cold. I can even go without a coat if my hands are warm.

Put some A&D ointment (I don't like vaseline) on your hands, nice and thick. Put on a pair of nitrile or other vinyl gloves on over that. Then put on your warm outdoor gloves. This made a big difference for me. Try it, it might help.

Second, get some hand warmers and place between the two gloves - now that is amazing. Make sure the outside gloves are too big for you when doing this so you move our fingers around. Better yet, wear mittens.
