Big huge flakes and already 3" more on the ground. Just beautiful!!!!!!! But that band of snow will be short lived. Still haven't gotten my feet of snow yet!!!!!!!! I really don't want feet. I'm actually a little nervous because of the Raynaud's. My hands literally begin to hurt, BAD, in the cold. My body temp is all screwed up. My hands will start turning purple (legit, no lie), but my face will feel so hot! The hands thing has been getting bad lately. To the point where I am actually nervous about shoveling. We'll see what happens. Coming down pretty hard right now. Just don't wanna lose my fingers. What the heck would I do without GLP?! Been snowing here, we added another 6 inches or so on top of the 4 inches we already had. Whopping 0* F right now too. I'd like to stay in, but have a party I'm going to and it's not too cold to pass up some smoked beef brisket. So, that said, I have to run. Hold down the fort! Zero and 10" on the ground! Sounds like the perfect time for smoked beef brisket. We are a lot warmer, 12 above and only 6-8" on the ground. You guys make me feel bad... I was waking up to the 20s(not to often here) and I was like a little girl, freezing what ever was left of my %*$&... and you people deal with it regularly.. I'm sad, when it's below 30.. above 30 I'm all good.. SICSEMPERTYRANIS Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum Vi veri universum vivus vici "There is nothing more deceptive than an obvious fact". I can even go without a coat if my hands are warm. Put some A&D ointment (I don't like vaseline) on your hands, nice and thick. Put on a pair of nitrile or other vinyl gloves on over that. Then put on your warm outdoor gloves. This made a big difference for me. Try it, it might help. Second, get some hand warmers and place between the two gloves - now that is amazing. Make sure the outside gloves are too big for you when doing this so you move our fingers around. Better yet, wear mittens. I will try this! Thank you!!! I use the hand warmers too use them in my boots also makes a huge difference It's 18 here today almost all the snow melted then froze hard had to put sand down everything is terribly slippery so scared of falling... |

I have to cook something to stay up with Deano..lol [link to imgur.com] Got enough for 2?? That looks just enough for four. Assume there are two sides. Otherwise, enough for two. I just found out the damnedest thing on my new laptop. My old laptop was 5 years old. I was blown away they many laptops don't even come with an optical drive now. Anyways, the button on the dvd/blyray/cdrom/burner combo had a tinny little and hard to push shitty button. I found I can open by right clicking the eject in My Pc. I feel dumb. I good with computers. But I swear my old laptop didn't do that. Anyways, I don't like Windows 8 much yet. It's a touch screen as well. So sometimes I go to swipe dust off, and forget. LOL. Also if I swipe the touch pad just right, the Home screen pops up. I also, so like all the dumb apps. I'll have it figured out in a week. 12 gigs of ram. I remember the few years I built systems, 1 gig was cool and 2 gigs DDR was the best. Now on the DDR3 and 12 gigs. Okay, I'm done ramblin'. -Everything's more awesome when you lean into it. |

Back in like 2002 I remember building a pure gaming system for a guy that had no money limit. Had 2 gigs of RAM-bus ram. It was 4 sticks of 512 and the sticks actually had an heat sink on them. Had two physical dual AMD thunderbird processors with like 3 inch copper heat sinks and fans on a huge Asus board. Then like 4 case fans. The whole system was one windy bitch. Plus the ATI card had a big fan and copper heat sink. I think it cost him 2 grand. And I bought a lot of stuff wholesale from an out of the wall parts store in South Seattle. I think the only thing I bought retail was a monster blue LED light filled case from Circuit City. I barely billed him for my labor. Like 300 bucks, some weed and an introduction to a girl. We dated for a while, I think. Like maybe 6 or 7 months. That's really the only reason I remember. He upgraded like a year and half later. Jerk just actually thew away the system too, in his apartment complex dumpster. He told me about it when I was over on day, and saw a new system. I went right out and fished it out of the dumpster. I didn't rain on it, it wasn't even that deep in it. I never told him, I had shame I guess. I used it for a year, before parting it out or something.
