The largest earthquake of magnitude not cataloged by IPMA / CVARG was at 10:05, must have a magnitude of ~ Ml1.5. Once you know where the Azores are, zoom back out, and imagine a big event there, either volcanic or quake and think of the directions the tsunami wave would go. From Ponta Delgada to: Portugal - Madeira =978 km/608 miles Ireland - Dublin - 2288 km/1422 miles London - 2518 km/1564 miles Boston = 3861 km/2399 miles New York = 4135 km/2569 miles Everyone worries about the Canary Islands, the Azores are just as deadly.
