Simple27 (OP) User ID: 57832527 United States 01/04/2015 04:12 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yes. Historical data tell us that when midle atlantic rift gets major reactivation peak we see activity in all rift islands. Iceland, Canary islands, Cape verde, and Azores... just Azores don't get reactivation yet. We can see a new island borning or an eruption in one of the main islands... [link to www.volcanodiscovery.com] He isn't kidding. This is a danger zone from hell. Major eruption or quake means a huge tsunami. Here is where he is speaking of. [link to earthquake.usgs.gov] Or if it doesn't work, google/search Ponta Delgada. Notice the two rifts it is near. Once you know where the Azores are, zoom back out, and imagine a big event there, either volcanic or quake and think of the directions the tsunami wave would go. From Ponta Delgada to: Portugal - Madeira =978 km/608 miles Ireland - Dublin - 2288 km/1422 miles London - 2518 km/1564 miles Boston = 3861 km/2399 miles New York = 4135 km/2569 miles Everyone worries about the Canary Islands, the Azores are just as deadly. ~*Ride the Wave*~ |
