So looks like a major volcano is showing unrest:

I am surprised there are no active buoys after the three 6.8 earthquakes hit Samoa...

Those were active after the 7.7 that hit PNG.

Samoa is the right hand corner of that group of islands. No buoys.

But the two 6.8's were recorded as Tonga, not Samoa. They are the same quakes. Not sure why USGS does that but it is the way it is.

When you look at this

you see that some agencies report Tonga and others Samoa. It doesn't mean it was separate quakes, just the differences in agencies. Took me along time to figure that one out.

Sometimes you will even notice a pop up in Alaska at the same time as South Pacific quake and then it will disappear. It recorded in Alaska, but it wasn't actually a quake there.

Yellowstone picks up a lot of the quakes across the world, it doesn't mean it is quaking there, only that their seismos picked up the quake.

Also, if you zoom in over Tonga, you will see that Samoa is just north of there. Are you thinking of Sumatra?

WA - I watched it as it happened - USGS HAD all three quakes listed as 6.8 before they downgraded them. They don't use different agencies. Samoa is so close to Tonga that it might as well be the same area.

Plus, I don't trust the downgrades. Therefore, I will use the original readings.

Yellowstone shows 3 at the top of the graph but the last one around 0915UTC was most likely the 4.0 in CA

I never trust the down grades. Ever. When I look and I see that they have downgraded to the lowest agencies report, when 10 others are saying it is much higher, that proves they lie. That is why I ALWAYS look at this site

It allows me to see what everyone else is showing.

There is usually one or two that will have it much higher. On the last 6.8, the highest was 7.0, four at 6.8, seven at 6.5 or less.

Yes, you actually should screen shot a lot of data. I do (when I am awake) and delete a lot of the stuff as it never came of anything.

Back in 2011/2012 with the solar flares that were happening, many of us noticed a LOT of M-flares were disappearing. I started doing screen shots of this site

to prove I wasn't losing my mind. This started many of us, to log our own info. It was amazing how many more M-flares there were than were being recorded. Yes the flare was there for 12-hours, but after that, they were gone from the archives. Once there were 5 M-flares in one hour. It only showed one. One!!! Yet we all watched each of them rise and recorded on the GOES-flux chart. Disgusting is what it is.

Ahhhhh, this is very sad. Loved that song!!!!!!

That will work?? Cool. I will have hubby do it when he doesn't have a lot going on at work. Remember, he works from home!

Yup, you can either unplug your router for about 20 seconds and then plug it back in, or if you have a reset button on your router you can just press that. : )

Either of those methods should reset your user id #.
