I made some french fries. Peeled and sliced up some Russets. Then about 12min the fryer. Salt and pepper right out of the fryer. I mixed some mayo and ketchup for sauce. So better then even the good brand frozen ones from the store. IMAGE ( [ link to i62.tinypic.com] ) Oooooh....you have a fryer? Can I be your roommate? :) It's not a fancy fryer. It's just a Presto brand Fry Daddy. It's like 6 years old. It's round and heavy. Just plug in, no dials. Mine came with a basket. But you don't need one really. Just need a metal slotted scoop. You should get one man. They are cheap. [ link to www.homedepot.com] I gave you a link so you have an Idea. But you can get one anywhere really. Twice in my life I've spent a lot and those fancy ones. With all the buttons, temp settings, filters and a lid. They all sucked and were a waste of like $300. Basic is always better on a lot of things. Every restaurant I've worked in, always just had open top fryers that were just on. It's about time, not temp in a deep fryer. Thanks, deano! Not a bad deal at all!!! Maybe I will grab one with my first paycheck!! :) Way cool!!
