The pic I took this morning, is what we out west call Blue Jays in the city, or Pine Jays in the woods. But really they are Steller's Jay. About the size of medium Crow. They are very loud. They are also assholes. They will get close, like 15 feet away and just "yell" at you. They'll often follow you for a bit too. Like a half a block, around the yard or just bug you for like 10 or 20 minutes if you're in a park or the woods. They fight with Crows all the time and they love to eat squirrels and not unusual to see a few eating a rat in an alley.

Here is their "yelling". You think Crows can be loud and annoying.

I love looking at Jay's but really they are worse than Magpies for stealing and eating other birds eggs. Jerks of the bird world.

deano - I'm 36! Hah! Didn't realize I came across as under 25 kinda guy. I am not attractive enough for Tinder...or any dating really that I am aware of...plus I can't be an asshole to "get chicks". That's what the culture is like now as an outsider looking in -- the bad guy gets the girl. But I don't want to be an asshole, a bad guy, etc.

WA- I know!!! I know...just kinda venting 'cause I have grown to liking this woman at work -- I always keep the entire idea of romance/etc out of the workplace because it's inappropriate and I have always followed the rule "never date coworkers". But this time I am trying desperately to get her out of my head and it is freaking hard and it ain't happening.

Of course -- I never will marry or date in haste. But by the time I am done considering and wanting to ask the girl out - BOOM - she has a boyfriend. I need to stop waiting six months to get the courage up to do so and ask right away as soon as I know she's single.

Sigh. Stupid life! Also no clinic today -- tournament at the bowling alley so I just put in about three games. Booooo...

I gave it a shot awhile back. Never was matched up.

I don't like biking, hiking, extreme outdoor sports, which everyone and their sister likes on tinder.
