WA- I know!!! I know...just kinda venting 'cause I have grown to liking this woman at work -- I always keep the entire idea of romance/etc out of the workplace because it's inappropriate and I have always followed the rule "never date coworkers". But this time I am trying desperately to get her out of my head and it is freaking hard and it ain't happening.
Of course -- I never will marry or date in haste. But by the time I am done considering and wanting to ask the girl out - BOOM - she has a boyfriend. I need to stop waiting six months to get the courage up to do so and ask right away as soon as I know she's single.
Sigh. Stupid life! Also no clinic today -- tournament at the bowling alley so I just put in about three games. Booooo...

Slow is good but not too slow. Ask around. Let others know you are interested to the woman finds out. I so wish that this would have happened for me more often. I'm old fashion, the guy has to make the first move, (though I did ask my hubby to marry me - lol we were talking about marriage and it just popped out) and if I didn't know they liked me, I moved on.
So, let it be known you are interested - that doesn't mean you want to marry her - but you shouldn't date anyone you don't want to find out if they are marriage material if this is what your heart truly wants. You want to go out and have fun, do it with a group, bowling is great, but dating isn't just for fun no matter what everyone else says.
Heck, drop a flower on her desk as you walk by. No words are needed so you don't have to worry about being rejected, but she does need to SEE you do it. Every woman knows what that means!!!! Next time you see her, her eyes will let you know.
