I'm getting on the list for one of these! US electric car pioneer Tesla unveils 'home battery' Device, which could fit on wall of garage or inside a house, could make solar-powered homes independent of energy grid. [ link to www.aljazeera.com] I know solar panels are just like half the price they once were just like 5 years ago. I forgot where I read it. But it was about 6 months ago. Apparently a China co. made so many, that there is like a surplus for the whole world for the next couple years. Just stock stacked up in many whorehouses. I saw a nice set-up that was originally $11,000. + marked down to $3000 I'm going off the grid with the next house
