I'd say it's mad :-) I've never felt one either. Although there was a small one in this area a few years ago or so that a bunch of people felt. Friends of mine felt it and even my dad felt it at work in South Boston. I was driving home from work at the time so I didn't feel it. Too small to be felt while driving. : ) I wouldn't mind feeling a small one, but I don't ever want to experience a biggie! ~*Ride the Wave*~ |

No big deal. I live about 30 miles from the Concord epicenter. Just want to let you know how much I appreciate this, the solar and the FOG threads. Your wisdom, humor and compassion make me feel not so alone and gives me some hope for humanity and the future, despite all the crap going on. Sending you all a big cyberhug, Heather |

Simple27 (OP) User ID: 62114448 United States 05/03/2015 06:46 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Wow so sad, and still the people underestimate the power of nature... I'm here for a while... Quoting: SeCuLiPu Very sad. Did you see them trying to help the person who was injured by the building collapsing? : ( Yes, you can see also how the people still continue driving normally their vehicles instead of park the cars near an open area, they continue their business... Some people walk like ants, not even conscious of the place they are passing by. Some Metro cities on USA are not prepared for a disaster like this. If Nepal was in NY I think the death toll would be more. People in NY would be doing their stuff until the buildings collapse over them, and even after they would ask: Do we need to evacuate or can still working? I hear ya! I also think the death toll would be a lot higher in NY because of the population alone. And the wide area that would be affected by such a large quake in that area of the US. It would be BAD. ~*Ride the Wave*~ |

Simple27 (OP) User ID: 62114448 United States 05/03/2015 08:05 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | THE NEPAL EARTHQUAKE was so powerful to apparently disturbed the ionosphere: Quoting: SeCuLiPu High above Earth, more than 60 km above sea level, there is a layer of our planet's atmosphere called "the ionosphere." It is where UV radiation from the sun strips electrons away from the atoms of normal air, creating a zone of charged gas that envelopes the globe. The ionosphere is very sensitive to solar storms. Turns out, it can be sensitive to earthquakes, too. NASA is reporting that the magnitude 7.8 earthquake in Nepal on April 25th created waves of energy that penetrated the ionosphere and disturbed the distribution of electrons. More here: [link to www.spaceweather.com] Now... this is suspicious... Last time I checked the Old Weather Weapons out there supposedly could trigger an earthquake by precisely disturbing the ionosphere... NASA is saying that the EQ disturbed the ionosphere... So how possible is that the real story is actually the inverse, the Ionosphere was purposely disturbed to create the Nepal earthquake? I like the way you think!!! ~*Ride the Wave*~ |
