Geomagnetic Storming Part 2
After an intially weak coronal mass ejection (CME) impact on Wednesday, minor (G1) to moderate (G2) geomagnetic storming is being observed at higher latitudes. This is in sharp contrast compared to the large storm from earlier in the week. Nonetheless, sky watchers at higher latitudes should be alert for visual aurora during the next 24 hours.
