If this wet season continues I can only imagine what winter will look like!!!

I really wish we would get a nice thunderstorm here. It's SO humid and in the 80's almost every day. I think it was 90 here on Sunday. The humidity this morning before I left for work was at 88%. Right now, at almost 6:30pm, it's still at 72%. And the news is talking about how humid it's going to be tomorrow. Ugh. I don't like it at all. We need a good storm to cool it down. Last week was awful too with the humidity.

The Washington National Guard joined by officers from Oregon and Idaho are preparing for a massive military relief effort.

More than 1,000 Washington National Guard members and state and county emergency managers across Washington rehearsed this week for a worst-case earthquake scenario a magnitude nine rupture of the offshore Cascadia fault zone.

“I'm going to have to go back and say, 'Look, they're going to really need a lot of help,’” said Boise-based Brigadier General John Goodale. "When you see what a Cascadia event -- the earthquake -- would do to the state of Washington, that is probably the most eye-opening thing I saw.”

-Not a super long story, but there is more to it and a few of the quotes are a bit unwavering. Like the Brigadier General from Idaho, I posted above. It's like they know Washington will be so bad off, they won't be able to help themselves.

We are 82% humidity right now but it just rained and is only 66. Before the rain about 30 minutes ago, it was 88.

So far for July, we have had 12 days of rain.

Oh that is TOO hot! Lol, for me. What a relief the rain must have been!

Well, if life is but a dream and this is all an illusion, there are some philosophers who theorize that at some level thoughts are causing it all and the universe is a hologram, so in the end, it probably will be my fault when it happens and not the cascadia fault. But since it's a hologram, it was my choice to die in the end..or when I get turned or switched off. I think I have been spending too much time on glp, but it beats the alternative..?
