Seems to me when you pack people in like sardines they start to act all crazy like. I prefer my wide open spaces and mountain views. That said, the second statement you have highlighted in red was pure sarcasm (we really need a sarcasm font!) This is the problem with the interwebs...I am often misunderstood. I have a very cynical, and snarky attitude and have been told my entire life that I am a smart ass. Hopefully, now that you know this, you don't take everything is say so seriously. Cheer up! Not totally alone, but not in a big city either. Quoting: Kira mai Kadwalladyr Ideally, I'd be on a mountain top with a clear line of sight for a mile in any direction and at least 20 miles from any community with a population larger than 10,000. I wouldn't be alone. I'd invite like minded people that I trust with my life as they trust theirs with me. A valuable skill set would be a bonus. You have no idea how close I am to doing just that. I'm only still here because my daughter is still young and would be devastated if I took her and moved out of state. Although I have been working on it with her and she's becoming more open minded about it. For me, I have no problem whatsoever moving to a place where nobody knows me. Where I can have a bit more privacy. I'm very open online, but in my day to day life away from GLP (the very little amount of time that is, lol) I'm very quiet and observant. I'm a 'people watcher.' I watch everything going on around me physically. At least the best I can at any given moment. I am more so referring to whenever I leave my home. But of course I watch from inside my home too. I don't really care to converse with people around here, with the exception of maybe 3 who aren't family. Ugh, family is even worse lol. Can't converse with most people around here because I don't care to talk about FB and what's going on in so and so's life that I went to middle school with and haven't communicated with since then. I truly don't give a f*ck where she was an hour ago, lmao. But seriously, I don't at all. Idk, I'm being judgmental. I'll stop. What I'm trying to say is that I would be just fine living somewhere that no one knew me. And I got to choose who my new associates and friends would be. No one would be 'by default' if you know what I mean. ~*Ride the Wave*~ |
