What I'm trying to say is that I would be just fine living somewhere that no one knew me. And I got to choose who my new associates and friends would be. No one would be 'by default' if you know what I mean. Some temporary devastation isn't necessarily a bad thing. Your child will hate you sometimes if you parent the right way. She may very well hate you for a few months. She will come around and eventually understand why you chose to do what you did. In all reality you're better off doing it now while she is young rather than later. It will only get more difficult if you wait. Personally, I'd rather deal with a disgruntled child temporarily than continue to live in a place that makes me unhappy. I am speaking from experience, my life growing up was in a constant state of flux. By the time I graduated high school I had lived 3 different communities, 100's of miles apart. Attended 5 different schools, lived in 15 different homes. Had 2 step-dads and 1 step-mom. I won't even get into the reasons for the numerous divorces and moves. Needless to say, change was the only constant in my young life. Do I regret this or feel sorry for myself? Hell NO! Quite the opposite actually. It was some serious character building and certainly taught me not to take anything for granted. Were it not for that childhood, I wouldn't be who I am today. What I am trying to say is think about what's best for your child and yourself. Not how they (or you) may temporarily feel. But it's serious/important enough that I feel the need to just let you know about it. Vibes are all out of whack. Meh. Let me think. I'll come up with something. Lol. Sorry! Haha!
