Pretty much never. It started out by saying quarter size. Then went to ping pong ball size. That's pretty big. For a ball of ice falling from the sky. For my area especially. Doubt it will happen though. ~*Ride the Wave*~ |

I just texted mini because I got a severe thunderstorm warning alert on my phone. Quoting: Simple27 Her response..."nothing's gonna happen I bet." Just what I need. Her not taking these weather warnings seriously. Because then we will get hit with one while she's outside. Ugh. But it reminded me of a GLP response. Haha! We get them also and 90% of the time nothing happens. It is when they don't put up a warning that we get hit without fail!!! We got one today, storms blew over. We did break a new heat record at 94!!! Engineering is perhaps too dignified, but it alters the biosphere. Putting a hundred million tons of carbon in the air is a big problem. Cutting down forests is a big problem. Since July 1st, 2015, five volcanoes have erupted in Indonesia. Presently, there are 43 volcanoes above ground, which have erupted this year, with two more trembling. Normally, we average 35 volcanoes a year. A drought exists over the Western United States especially California, which started the summer of 2011. The USGS lists a volcano called Axial Seamount which erupted in April 2015, not included in the number above. |

I got to the Oregon coast last year end of May, and haven't had a 'hot' day since..days that have periods of the day for a while it gets hot, but still cool overall in temperature, and especially right by the sea there is a lot of gusty winds. Then the fog here is not like the coast of SoCal where I grew up. There, it would creep in slowly, here, it literally whips in like a frenzy in brisk gusts. Quoting: Kira mai Kadwalladyr I may have to move there. : ) ~*Ride the Wave*~ |
