I sometimes wish that I could have the knee & hip replacements that help so many other people, (can't because of the genetic disorder & severe osteoporosis); then I remember what total screw-ups even my most simple surgeries have turned into, lol!! As soon as ANY new doctor mentions the "S"-word, I'm out the door!! My established docs know better-and surprisingly sometimes, support me!!

AAAARRRRGGGHHHH. HOW DO I SHUT THIS DAMNED MOUSE OFF??!! I got a box in the mail today-had ordered some things from Amazon. When I brought it in, a high-pitched squeaking that sounds, literally, like a broken record skipping & repeating...I didn't know WTF it was, so I took it out the back door, thinking if something blew-up, at least it would be outside. As my next-door neighbor watched in utter amusement at me carefully opening this screeching box; I opened the lid to find a vibrating, screeching toy mouse I'd ordered for Leela!! I thought the thing was just supposed to squeak when you squeezed it-NOPE, it's electronic, with a button inside, and me & 2 neighbors now have tried to turn this thing off & it's STILL vibrating & screeching!!! No matter where I put it, it STILL sounds LOUD!! Heck, I even threw it in Leela's "swimming pool", much to her amusement I might add. Even SHE's tired of it, curled up in her box with the lids down!!
