NASA Denies Asteroid To Strike Earth Next MonthNASA has denied viral internet claims that an asteroid will strike Earth next month wreaking widespread devastation.
The space agency noted that a number of web postings are "erroneously" claiming a disaster will happen between 15 and 28 September this year.
Rumour-mongers have said the cosmic strike would hit near Puerto Rico, destroying parts of the US Atlantic and Gulf coasts and Mexico, as well as Central and South America.
Conspiracy theorists suggested the US authorities were secretly making emergency plans for the impending catastrophe.

First, I doubt a medium to large asteroid (fingers crossed) will strike Earth next month.
Second, some of you may be familiar with my Atlantis Awake threads which have decoded Nazca Lines and G1 pyramid at Giza and will address other mysterious monuments in the future. For now the message is one of an ancient cataclysm of unknown time and origin thousands of years ago.
Third, Graham Hancock wrote 'Fingerprints of the Gods' 20 years ago and is about to release 'Magicians of the Gods' next month in the UK and in November in the US.
In his seminal work Fingerprints he strongly suggests that there was an ancient civilization that met an untimely demise but left monuments that are 'crazy' in construction. The one at Baalbeck has 3 blocks over 1,000 tons in the quarry. The platform for the Temple of Jupiter that was built by the Romans has a row of 6 400 ton blocks that support 3 800 ton blocks some 20 feet off the ground. He suggests the platform was not the work of the Romans but a much earlier advanced civilization.
