Nothing to do with earth. The minor flaring, M-flares, were from two sunspots that were never capable of popping an X-flare and only one put out a tiny CME. Nothing else there either. Record breaking - naw, we have had worse during this past peak and in the distant past 2003, 1989 and back to 1859, those were major CME's that if they happened now, even the 1989, our grid would be compromised! I know it says myspace in the link, but if you right click the link and 'search Google for this image' that pic doesn't come up. Or any other pics of that person. I would think it would if it was on myspace...or any other social media site. Which they are now saying they're investigating his social media sites. Just weird that nothing came up searching that pic. tineye couldn't find it either...  |
