Debt stopped increasing a few months back during emergency monetary policy by the treasury. This is the payback of those measures. Happened last year and the one before too. Last year there was a GLP thread on it.

Seeing more emp smoke blowing in the news lately. Anything going on to justify it?

Not a thing. We are in solar minimum or at least almost there. We can get a huge sunspot even then, just like the Carrington spot and that was just after a poor showing solar maximum just like we had, but nothing is showing at this point.

I honestly think they are more concerned about a man made event thus the use of the acronym EMP instead of CME. There has never been a more worrisome time in history as far as an EMP goes, than we have right now. During the Cold War they were worried about an actual bomb landing, now no one wanted thousands of years of radioactive land that spreads around the world so an EMP is a perfect candidate for causing mass casualties.

Yep, and from whats being said many of those have been back burnered (for lack of a better word)for a later date, they had to hold off and keep the adjustment below an undisclosed no., the rest will cascade down at interval . Whats disturbing is the not knowing of adjusted spending in regards to this immediate hike. No one knows what has really been spent. The revolving door keeps alot of hidden fat spinning.

I actually tried to add that also, but it didn't work. The above EQ is not a hit as it was suppose to be in Europe. Sun activity in my opinion.

Hey WA, seems the the sun is still firing once it hits that west corner, how long has it been now, 3 to 4 years of this anomaly going on. It now is the norm, so good to still have you around, you're a grounding force yourself, always feels like home when you're here.!

It started in 2012, fires on the limbs but not when earth facing. Oh we had some good ones in 2011-2012 but the majority even then were on the limbs. So weird when it would fire an X-flare on the east limb, go very quiet and then fire another X-flare when it hit the west limb.

This happened before the Maunder and Dalton grand minimums began. It was noticed during the solar cycle just before those happened. We talked about it for awhile over on Ninz solar thread, with most of us agreeing this could be a 'tell' that the coming solar minimum will indeed be a Grand Solar Minimum again.

I believe you're spot on, we will be looking at a very lethargic star for 25 to 40 years, under speculation of the branches. This does coincide very closely with previous min., what has me thinking is how will this affect the current trend of geomagnetic slow down of our own core. I believe we all know that a pole flip is starting or shows signs of it. Now does this flip take 50 , 200, or 1,500 years and does the geomagnetic slow down of our star have a direct impulsive response to our own dipole slip. There was a report several years ago of a Gamma burst from our sun that caused an immediate response from mama earth, cause and effect scenario . Just wondering if this sun slowdown causes a rebirth of our already quirky magnetospheric slide.
The cool thing is I can't do anything about it, so it helps me enjoy the event instead of going manic about it. Only God knows why and I trust him with it.

M1.9 Solar Flare and CME
Good morning. Solar activity increased to moderate levels with an M1.9 solar flare observed around region 2445 at 03:26 UTC (Nov 4). The flare was associated with a Type II radio emission with an estimated velocity of 790 km/s. A coronal mass ejection (CME) was produced and appears to be directed to the west and away from Earth.
