Just wanted to report some information about this quake, many people felt this earthquake and were quite freaked out about it. It apparently shook several houses in Searcy and many people reporting hearing loud booms before and during this quake.

U.S. Oil Hub in Oklahoma on Alert as National Security Officials Warn of Damaging Earthquakes

Oklahoma’s boom in man-made earthquakes has become a national security threat.

The ground is shaking near Cushing, Oklahoma, home to the largest commercial crude oil storage center in North America, where big money is made storing and moving crude. The massive oil hub is connected to dozens of pipelines and lined with hundreds of airplane hangar-sized tanks currently holding an estimated 54 million barrels of oil.

Researchers and federal security authorities, however, say the earthquakes imperil the Cushing hub, which links North American oil fields with Gulf Coast refineries and plays a critical role in the U.S. energy market as the delivery point for NYMEX crude oil futures.

The oil industry practice of pumping fluid underground to dispose of drilling waste or boost oil production is now linked to almost all of the significant earthquakes ever recorded in Oklahoma. Officials worry that if a quake like the one that occurred in Prague struck Cushing, operations at the oil hub could be disrupted — the effects of which could surge through the U.S. energy market.

yeah..same here. thanks so much, all of you. I made it up with plenty of time to spare..the hospital is all over the place..oral surgeon was nice, and did fine getting there on the drive and seeing the doc and the tmj isn't really that bad so my headaches are not from that and I see the neurologist tomorrow..

but when I was done with the appt, it was dark, and I was freaking out on my way out of the hospital trying to find the freeway entrance and to get on it and where was it in a strange city in the dark in rush hour traffic..and no I don't have or do gps..I DRIVE. and I don't much care for driving when it's like that, and I felt awful that the dogs couldn't tell that my 'freakout' wasn't 'at' them since they were the only others in the car..

but I made it to the hotel. I will be okay tomorrow. I just REALLY need to learn to stop beating myself up all the time.

Ever see how fast drivers in the Seattle/Tacoma area drive? No you haven't. We get stuck in gridlock... With not traffic, downtown Tacoma to Seattle, 15 min. With traffic. 1 or 1 half hours.

Do they pass out parachutes before leaving the bus station? You might have to bail out y'know.

I the low lands, it's been getting down into the low 40s overnight. The furnace has been kicking on a lot the last week.

Sweaters are out and women are wearing sexy tall boots. Trees are bare and the city buses s have the heat on. Fog in the very early morning.

I do the same. I have a few pages. Somewhat organized. I have funny, no, drunk, misc and star trek.
